I am happy to say that I am the first student among the whole Macfastians to comment on the blog.
Well talking about residential campus…
Residential Campus are a home away from home.It is the heavenly place where the potentials of students are been explored to the maximum, which will give them an upper hand towards life……
Life is a big challenge. In today’s competitive world students who boldly face the challenges of life alone wins. Residential campuses have succeeded in creating a strong mental framework among students that will help them in the long run. I am glad that Macfast is also a Residential campus which is shaping us to that extent…
Another advantage of Residential Campus is that it will enable the students to grow up as a self-reliant person. Since they live away from parents and dear ones students will learn to tackle their problems independently. Self-reliance contributes a lot in the development of a successful human being. This will help students to cultivate self-respect within them. All these contribute in the growth of confident persons who believe in themselves.

The college experience is not complete without living on campus. It may be the only time in a person’s life that they can experience being part of a close-knit group that has such great friendship and bonding potential. Going “home” to an apartment sometimes can feel lonely and is often limited to a narrow social group. In the residence halls, diversity is everywhere – whether that’s cultural, ethnic, academic, or recreational.
There are many other advantages like utilize campus resources such as the library more often, take a higher number of credit hours per semester, get more involved with campus activities, gaining leadership skills etc…
I’m happy that MACFAST is also going to become a residential campus

Hey I do Accept Wit It Wat all said above::The college experience is not complete without living on campus….but It should provide the facilities too. the mentality of the student teacher’s approach. Providing the environment such as A good canteen, a proper functioning Cafeteria , a accua club, an entertainment cell..

I agree with Jikku……..most time the residential programs face problems when there is a lack of infrastructure……..without having good facilities we cannot forward with this program.Later having ourself stand erect we can think of these ideas rather it will cause problems.

nowhere in the world we will get ideal circumstances. We have to adjust with the limitations and try to improve the facilities. there can be a lot of shortcomings and limitations. But maintain a positive attitude and use the available facilities fully, with the commitment to develop and improve oneself.
